Centre Pompidou Paris
Centre Pompidou is a complex building which houses libraries, museums, and exhibitions spaces. It was designed in the style of high-tech architecture by the architectural team of Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano, along with Gianfranco Franchini. Its design has a brutalist and postmodern architecture styles. The first things you will notice are the gigantic pipes and diagonal levitated translucent tunnel at the back - which is one of the access to enter the building by escalators. Initially, all of the functional structural elements of the building were colour-coded: green pipes are plumbing, blue ducts are for climate control, electrical wires are encased in yellow, and circulation elements and devices for safety (e.g., fire extinguishers) are red. You are not going to miss this beautiful and bold masterpiece from the street, for sure.
